Pindi Pindi utilises an Aboriginal research methodology that is creative and flexible, inclusive and accessible.  At Pindi Pindi we ensure that our research participants are able to contribute in a culturally secure manner.  They are our partners in the research – acting as contributors, not as subjects.

Our research can provide a starting point for Aboriginal people to access information about themselves and their world, as well as provide others with an opportunity to expand their knowledge.

Pindi Pindi acknowledges that prior and informed consent is a political right of Aboriginal people.  We ensure that all people identified as potential participants in any of our research projects and activities are afforded ample time and opportunity to discuss the research proposal, to seek advice and information, to determine if they would like to participate in it and how extensive or minimal this participation will be and to articulate their own views, expectations and limitations about the research project without influence from the research team.
