Advice to our People

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are advised that this site may contain images and voices of people who are deceased.

Our Website Explained

Whenever we use the word “Aboriginal” we also include Torres Strait Islanders. As with most of our people here in Western Australia we prefer the word “Aboriginal” to “Indigenous”.  This preference has been acknowledged by the Government of Western Australia.
